SFASD SUMMER HOURS
In an ongoing effort to benefit from cost savings on utilities, the Spring-Ford Area School District will operate on a four-day work week during the summer months. This operational strategy is expected to save the district tens of thousands of dollars in energy and utility costs.

Spring-Ford Area School District employees are working the same number of hours a week, but doing so in four days rather than five.
Monday: 7 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Tuesday : 7 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Wednesday: 7 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Thursday: 7 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Friday : Close
END-OF-YEAR INFORMATION
The countdown to summer is on! For those families who will be returning for the 2017-2018 school year, school will begin on Monday, August 28, 2017.

UPDATED IMMUNIZATION REGULATIONS FOR 2017-2018
The Department of Health has changed school immunization regulations. The changes will be in effect for the beginning of the 2017/18 school year.

NEW PA School Immunization Requirements MUST be met by 5th day of school or student will NOT be allowed to attend school. If you are unsure, please check with your pediatrician.
Children in ALL grades (K-12) need the following immunizations for attendance:
  • 4 doses of tetanus, diphtheria and acellular pertussis
  • 4 doses of polio
  • 2 doses of measles, mumps and rubella
  • 3 doses of hepatitis B
  • 2 doses of varicella (chicken pox)
Seventh through 12th Grade ADDITIONAL immunization requirements for attendance:
  • 2 doses meningococcal conjugate vaccine (MCV)
  • 1 dose of tetanus, diphtheria, acellular pertussis (Tdap)

COOL SCHOOL 2017
Cool School 2017 registration is open! Cool School summer courses offer fun summer activities for students completing grades K-6, with a focus on enrichment, arts and sports. Check out this years courses, taught by some of your favorite Spring-Ford teachers!

Quick tips for a successful registration:
1. Review the Cool School course book with your Cool School kiddo.
2. Register with Credit Card online or mail a check payment, along with the Cool School Registration Form.
3. Get ready to have fun!

Report cards will be available online on Wednesday, June 21st at 4:00.
The SF Transportation Office is now accepting 2017-2018 transportation request forms.
To print the forms please go to the "for parents tab" above and then go to district forms.á You can print them out and send them in with your student starting now.


Ordered Yearbooks will be distributed to students on Friday June 9th.á Extra books will be available on Monday June 12th, cash only for $30.00.á They will be sold on a first come first serve basis.
Volleyball Camp
We are pleased to announce our fourth annual Summer Volleyball Camp.ááClick the link toáprint and complete the brochureáif your daughter is interested in learning, developing and/or refining their volleyball skills.á This is for students entering 6th to 9th grade.
